Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. Her childhood was spent listening to classical, old boleros along with classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana is a lover of Tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. Ana started learning how to sing and play music in the early years with her mother. She received more formal vocal training at the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. The beginning of her professional career saw her perform with many chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara. When she moved in California in United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present home in southern California. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. She is passionate about the performing arts, music, as well as the arts keeps active in community projects for both an artist as well as a instructor. Ana has also been a former participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates the opportunity to share her passion and passion of traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to impart a desire particularly among the younger generation to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
